Clashes out of doors Argentine Congress after veto of pension upward thrust


There were fierce clashes between protesters and police in Buenos Aires, after 1000’s of other people collected out of doors Argentina’s Congress to reveal in opposition to the president’s veto of a upward thrust in pensions.

Video displays protesters, a lot of them pensioners, tearing down fences and getting into the Congress house, sooner than officials fired pepper spray and rubber bullets in an try to disperse the gang.

Politicians supporting the pension upward thrust did not win the two-thirds majority had to override President Javier Milei’s veto.

Milei is attempting to cross a sequence of austerity measures to overturn years of top inflation and public debt in Argentina. He has defended harsh fiscal measures as vital to mend the financial system.
